Dr. MN Pavan Kumar is a qualified Surgical Gastroenterologist working at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. His experience in gastro-intestinal surgery and its subspecialties like hepato-biliary, pancreatic surgery, colorectal surgery, emergency abdominal surgery is immense.
During his training and tenure at renowned central institutions like AIIMS, New Delhi and JIPMER, Pondicherry, he fine-tuned his skills in treating entire spectrum of gastrointestinal surgical problems. He is also trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and has been performing basic and advanced minimal access surgeries for many years with excellent results. Presently, he is working as a consultant at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda.
He regularly performs various complicated procedures like radical esophagectomy, major hepatectomies, multi-visceral resections, Whipple’s pancreaticoduodenectomy and other pancreatic surgeries.
Gastrointestinal problems are all the more frequent in the present day busy lifestyle. Accurate diagnosis and effective treatment help in alleviating suffering from these common problems. Our intention is to offer effective surgical procedures whenever needed and help in avoiding unnecessary procedures. Ideally, there should be a fine balance in adopting newer techniques while avoiding procedures whose safety is not yet fully established.
